OUR HISTORY ...
PNP’s CEO Wayne Lavery was the marketing manager for Health First Doctors Offices, the largest group of corporately run medical facilities in Canada. There, Wayne introduced a number of marketing solutions, including patient newsletters, identifying a niche market opportunity. After an exhaustive competitive review Patient News was established and we produced and mailed our first patient newsletter for Dr. Paul Piccinnini (dentist to the Toronto Argonauts) in 1993.
From the start we had our eye on product development and excellence in innovation and quality. Our patient newsletter core product quickly grew to direct mail neighorhood newsletters, practice brochures, referral cards, postcards, patient surveys and products related to strengthening our clients relationships with their patients and prospective patients in their practice community. With a dedicated focus on quality, customization and flexibility, Patient News quickly earned the reputation as the best provider in the industry.
As we approached the millennium year we determined that we had a product that would be extremely competitive south of the border. Karen, along with Joanne Bishop (VP) led the launch into the US in February 2000 at the Chicago Midwinter Meeting. Their tremendous results lead to expansion across the US and subsequently Patient News became largest provider of customized newsletters in North America.
