At Patient News our core product, dental marketing campaigns for dentists, are all about communication. Effective communication strengthens relationships and builds trust, whether they are personal, business, family or colleague. We are dedicated to improving internal staff and inter-departmental communications, and we're committed to a variety of methods to keep everyone informed in a fun and interesting way.

Family & PNP's Kids Klub

Quality, cost and convenience are a challenge for parents when arranging for short-time babysitting after school. We are committed to family at Patient News, and provide after-school babysitting services for parents with kids from 5-10 years of age. The children are bused direct to the doors at PNP, and enjoy quiet games, crafts, computer sessions and movies. Our babysitting program has built lifetime friendships between the kids and provides comfort to parents who know that their kids are happy, well cared for and secure. Babysitters are generally children of PNP staff, including those responsible teens who have now graduated from the PNP Kids Klub!

Fun

Living and working in the beautiful surroundings of the Haliburton Highlands is an opportunity we like to make the most of in every season.

Spring/Summer

Located lakeside in Haliburton, we celebrate summer on our grassy lawn overlooking the water with themed barbecues, volleyball games in our sand court, paddleboating, kayaking, biking and many hikes around the community. Our Annual Summer Party is held on a workday at the President's Lakehouse where employees engage in team building games, fun skits and presentations; spouses join for an evening of dinner, music and bonfires and we award our coveted Employee of the Year.

Fall/Winter

It's cooler for a longer period in the highlands, so we have lots of fun including "snow volleyball" games, curling teams, pizza nights and bowling events. We hold our Annual Ski Day at Sir Sam's Ski & Bike Area featuring the highly anticipated hot potato event - now we've added Zipfy to our day! Our Annual Holiday Event is the gala of the year, held at a beautiful area resort we enjoy dinner, dance and overnight accommodation with our team and their significant other.

Health & Wellness

GYM: At Patient News, staff enjoy our fully equippred fitness facility features cardio and strength training equipment including treadmills, bike, elliptical, free weights, benches and exercise machines.
CLASSES: During the winter months we provide a variety of staff selected classes including Zoomba, Pilates, and Yoga. Outdoor team building events have been popular. Individual staff groups encourage participation in local training sessions like spinning classes and aerobics. Staff can also use the boardwalk to walk or ride downtown into the village and they create partnerships for walking, jogging, cycling or kayaking fitness as well as recreational sports teams.
SNACKS: PNP provides free whole fruit in all three kitchens. Fresh fruit such as apples, pears, bananas are brought in fresh each week, and we also provide free bottled water, coffee, tea and condiments. Kitchens are complete, fully stocked and include all appliances. We believe that a motivated and enthusiastic staff makes your marketing campaign even better!
